The Autumn 2025 Write Theatre course is now fully booked.
Dates: October 25th / 26th and November 8th / 9th.
If you wish to enrol for the whole course (i.e. BOTH weekends), the fee is £500.
To encourage young writers we are offering a 50% discount to a limited number of writers under the age of 30.
If you wish to enrol for the first weekend only, the fee is £275.
The first weekend will be devoted to workshops, seminars and one-to-one tutorials. Professional actors will NOT be present.
The second weekend is the second part of the course. Three experienced professional actors will be present throughout.
IT IS POSSIBLE TO ENROL FOR THE FIRST WEEKEND ONLY OR FOR THE WHOLE COURSE, BUT IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO ENROL FOR THE SECOND WEEKEND ONLY.
WRITE Theatre courses are NOT residential, and the fees do not include food or drinks (which are available at The Cockpit bar and at cafés, pubs and restaurants in the lively local neighbourhood).

Please send us two short paragraphs about yourself. In the first, please give a brief account of your writing experience to date. In the second, please state what specifically you hope to gain from the course. This information will help us fine tune our planning. If you are applying for the Under 30s discount to the fee, please also state your age.
We will then respond within two days telling you whether you have been accepted onto the course.
If we accept you onto the course, we will send you an invoice for an initial £100 deposit, which is required to secure your booking.
We will invoice you for the balance of fees three weeks before the first weekend of the course.
Course postponement or cancellation
WRITE Theatre reserves the right to postpone or cancel workshops until 3 weeks before delivery of the first weekend of the course. In the unlikely event of this taking place, any payments including deposit will be refunded in full to participants. WRITE Theatre takes no responsibility for any other expenses which may have been incurred.
